The Super Bowl has come and gone, and North Texas returns to normalish. Though we’re hearing tell of another snowpocalypse for this evening. My fingers are crossed. On to the news:
- Texas legislators will consider lightening up on “sexting” laws that label teens who send sexy photos as sex offenders.”
- Here’s a question I hate: “Is it possible for a candidate who supports abortion rights to win a high-profile statewide Republican primary in Texas?” Reworded: will Texans permit themselves to be led by someone who thinks women can make their own fucking decisions?
- A senate panel in the Lege will consider the mandatory ultrasound law this week.
Bonus: Super Bowl ads, discuss.
