Texas Sex and Gender News Roundup

Morning, y’all. We’re playing catch-up with this edition of the TSaGNR, so some of this may be old news. But that doesn’t make it any less important, does it? Actually, it does. Well.

  • Dallas lawyer Louise Raggio, who is basically responsible for the fact that women in Texas are no longer the legal property of their husbands, died over the weekend. She was a baller-ass 91-years-old.
  • A Dallas lingerie football player has posed nude for Playboy. So guys can now see all of how good at sports she is?
  • Republican Rep. Ted Poe of Beaumont has publicly joined those saying that nearly 1,000 women have been raped in the Peace Corps over the past decade.
  • Baylor’s women’s basketball team continues to kick ass, take names.
